Glossary
Raku
Ceramic ware originating from Japan and used for the
Tea Ceremony. To achieve maturing temperature as low as 750oC, Raku glazes contain lead
and borosilicates.
Raw Material
Ceramic raw materials are used to supply the chemical oxides required in glazes.
