Titania
Titanium Dioxide (TiO₂).
This oxide can have a marked effect on the opacity, crystallisation and melt of a glaze. It occurs naturally as Rutile.
Common raw materials are Strontium oxide, Rutile and Ilmenite.
An acidic oxide.
